TruInsure is an independent insurance agency wholly owned by TruStar Federal Credit Union. While owned by the credit union, we offer personal and commercial insurance to both members and non-members alike.
We have partnerships with multiple companies allowing our team of insurance agents to help you customize coverage for your specific needs and budget. We’re here to help you plan for the unexpected, but also to assist you in restoring order when it occurs.
History
Members-Plus, LLC began operations in International Falls in 2001 after the purchase of a local independent insurance agency. In 2009, the name TruInsure was added as a dba to better reflect the business and association to TruStar. That year TruInsure also acquired a local independent agency in Bemidji and opened a location at the TruStar branch there. Currently, TruInsure has offices in International Falls and Bemidji and will meet with clients at the other branches by appointment.
